Powdered Metal Bushings

Powdered metal bushings are available in a wide variety of sizes and shapes and are considered "plane bearings", which have no rolling elements. After forming, sintering, and sizing, this material is impregnated with SAE 30 oil, making these bushings self -lubricating. Among the most common variety of these products include:

• SAE841 -This material offers standard, off-the-shelf availability of straight bushings, flanged bushings, thrust washers, and bar stock to fit shaft diameters from 1/8" to 5".
• SAE863 -This product includes a high iron content, allowing for 50% greater PSI capacity than SAE841 material
