Bearing Service Inc. has received one of Rexnord’s top Trailblazer honors.  Each year Rexnord recognizes the Trailblazer with the largest dollar growth and highest percentage growth in shipments.  Bearing Service Inc. led the Trailblazer group with the largest % growth in shipments from 2019 to 2020, achieving a 16.6% increase in Rexnord shipments.

The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA), a trade association representing the power transmission/motion control industry, has named Douglas Savage, president, Bearing Service Inc. (Livonia, Mich.), the 19th recipient of its Warren Pike Award for lifetime achievement in the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry.

The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) elected its 2008 Board of Directors and Manufacturer Council at the PTDA 2007 Industry Summit in Palm Desert, Calif.

John Masek, vice president, Bearing Service Inc. (Livonia, Mich.) has been elected to succeed Jeff Pickelman, president of Northern Industrial Supply Inc. (Saginaw, Mich.), as PTDA's president in the coming year.  Masek has served PTDA in many leadership roles, including as a member of the PTDA board since 2004.  Masek has also been heavily involved in the work of the PTDA Foundation, serving as an Industry Champion and Advisory Committee chair for the Industrial Careers Pathway® (ICP) program.
